Yoko Kajiwara Chun is an acupuncturist and certified yoga instructor who loves the creativity and expression of vinyasa flow yoga. She likes to teach yoga with a strong emphasis toward posture alignment to help students understand their body to achieve better health.
She completed her yoga teacher training with internationally re-known yoga instructor Natasha Rizopoulous. As an acupuncturist, she has been servicing the greater Bedford - Lexington community since 1999. She specializes in Japanese acupuncture techniques, well known for its effectiveness and gentle nature. After living her childhood overseas in Singapore, Brazil, and Japan, she attended the University of Oregon and earned a BS in Kinestheology, also known as Exercise & Movement Science. After graduating from University, Yoko pursued her career in Acupuncture by enrolling in a Master degree program at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle. During treatments, she integrates acupuncture, moxabustion, shiatsu massage, and very unique pendulum work to give her client maximum opportunity to relax, heal, and be at peace.
When Yoko is not on the mat, she enjoys spinning, biking, hiking, tennis, and stand up paddle board surfing. She has also studied Tae kwon do and Tai Chi.
